World is a living prayer to heal the Earth sung with heartfelt commitment
by youth and elders around the globe. Originally composed on Mt. Haleakala, Maui, Hawaii,
its message of Peace and Aloha radiates worldwide through CSPAW programs,
recordings and sharing heart to heart.

Hawaiian Version
Hawaiian translation(bold
print) of the chorus was contributed by Auntie Pua Mahoe from Maui, Hi.
She recommended translating just the chorus in Hawaiian to emphasize
unity in form. The actual translation of this chorus is, "the peace
in I is in the beauty and the light of the world". The word "Heiwa"
is the Japanese word for peace and was integrated in this version of the
song to be sung at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington,DC. in the Spring
of 2001. Recorded by students from Iao School and one homeschooler
with Lei’ohu Ryder and Dawn Ferguson, Maui, Hi. 2002.
