Composed, Created and Directed by Dawn L. Ferguson Children Singing Peace Around the World is a living prayer to heal the Earth sung with heartfelt commitment by youth and elders around the globe. Originally composed on Mt. Haleakala, Maui, Hawaii, its message of Peace and Aloha radiates worldwide through CSPAW programs, recordings and sharing heart to heart. Audio-video recordings of children on their home soil singing CSPAW in their own language, creating dances for the song and sharing their views on peace are taken during some of the programs and later produced and made available as resource tools for teachers and others wanting to integrate peace curricula in children's education. The project has evolved into an international educational experience for children and adults alike promoting an awareness of unity and peace and providing a medium for earth's children to connect with one another heart to heart. Multinational youth gatherings and collaborations have begun as we continue to share and embody this message of Peace and Aloha!

Children Singing Peace Around the World programs and productions are made possible by extraordinary grass roots volunteerism, collaboration and sponsorship. Private gifts and contributions help bring CSPAW programs to youth around the globe, facilitate completion of the thirty recordings envisioned, and will help co-create the Global CSPAW gathering and celebration in Hawaii in December, 2012.
