Children Singing Peace Around the World  (CSPAW)

Children Singing Peace Around the World is a living prayer to heal the Earth sung with heartfelt commitment by youth and elders around the globe.  Originally composed on Mt. Haleakala, Maui, Hawaii, its message of Peace and Aloha radiates worldwide through CSPAW programs, recordings and sharing heart to heart.

Opening the program with her Hawaiian nose flute, Dawn is very grateful for this possibility to offer a CSPAW program with youth and children at the Democratic School.(Top left)  One of the students tones the Children's Peace Bowl with the beautiful, serene mountains behind her. Mahalo to Kazuhiro Kojima, Director of Global Vision and Yoshim Kuroda, Director of the Democratic School Makkuro-Kurosuke for organizing and sponsoring this CSPAW program.  Mahalo again to Fumika Nagamine and Mayumi Mori for their co-facilitation assistance and sponsorship!  Mahalo to all of the youth who participated and created such  a beautiful dance offering for the Japanese version of Children Singing Peace Around the World and to all the adults who held the energetic space and vision for the youth to come to successful completion by the end of the day.  It was a beautiful experience joining all of you!  Mahalo for your enthusiastic welcome and participation and for the delicious community meal and enjoyable program we shared together!
